How Hypnotherapy Can Help You

When most people think of hypnotherapy, they think about smoking cessation or weight loss. The ability of hypnosis to help is much broader than that. Hypnotherapy is a faster, more effective way than other conventional treatments to get results. A survey of psychotherapy literature reported the following findings:

  • Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions
  • Behavior Therapy: 72% recovery after 22 sessions
  • Hypnotherapy: 93% recovery after 6 sessions

This study clearly points out that hypnosis is more effective and works more quickly than traditional talk therapy or psychoanalysis.

Some issues require medical or psychological referral. The purpose of a program of hypnotherapy is for vocational and avocational self-improvement (Business and Professions Code 2908) and as alternative or complementary treatment to healing arts services licensed by the state.
